Hi from Central NY! Welcome to the forum.

To Rancher: Sorry to hear about your cats. It is so hard to lose them after having them so long.

Well I might hatch BR's in the spring and they are auto sexed but I only have white orps , and Dels. I might be able to get a RIR. but you'd have to wait til they can be sexed. Then they won't be chicks.

Or find someone to order chicks from a hatchery with you. I understand MY Pet chickens can do three at a time.

Hope things work out

Hello from a former western NYer! Nice area you are in! Wow second year and that is all you have!? Good for you...chicken madness hasn't set in?
Ok thought it was going to be a nice week....did I hear cold and rain for the weekend?

Enjoy the day! Moved young ones around last night..all the blue/green eggers in one place and only 4 young ones to grow out..well that isn't counting the 9 very young ones or the 15 langshan eggs the bantie is setting on..or the 7 favrolles coming this weekend..

Move to a bigger place outside the town limits. Then you can have as many as you want.

Welcome!! I'm not far from you!

DH and DS mark our territory frequently, we have lots of trees.

Still looking for a female Red-Golden Pheasant, our little guy is lonely.

Our 2 cats are 10 yrs old and still going well. It'll be a very sad day when they go.

Trick-or-treating. Hmmm.... For those of you who haven't been to our home, our drive is long and dark = no kids. BUT, I have 3 kids of my own and sometime the DS brings his friends over after roaming the neighborhood and I "charge" them entry fee to come in and warm up.

I like chocolate and they get hot chocolate and to sit by the wood stove.

It's called "self control". Most of us wouldn't know anything about that, but I did look it up.

You can say that again. Sounds to me like some one needs some intervention to fix that "self control" issue they have going on. Here on BYC we work the opposite way as other programs. If your not addicted we'll work with you until you are.

OR ELSE!

I've got Dels, and BR's and nearly every color of orps. "Pay no attention to that man stuffing chickens in your coop"..

I wish you a speedy recovery from your non- addiction.
