NY chicken lover!!!!

4 of the 5 eggs I just cracked were fertile.

2 of them were laid BEFORE I slipped eggs under my broody silkie. (I have my hens trained to date their eggs after they lay them. Only hitch in the system is when I forget to change the calender in the coop to the right month)

Change the calendar? Just put a calendar on their Google page. Your chickens do have internet access, right?

I happen to have gotton NO eggs in 2 days. Really? I feed them EVERY day. Water them EVERY day. Something just isn't adding up. I have around 45 hens.

On another note I have a garage heater for sale if anyone is interested. Runs on LP, Modine PA75A. Older and has not been used in a while. $100. PM me.

Oooh, Happy, now I dont feel so bad about only getting 1 or 2 a day from my 8 hens! I thinks its time you redecorated their coop. Maybe if you hung a few roasting pans around along with some crock pots and a grill, they may take the hint and get busy paying the feed bills!

I forbid my girls from being on the internet after catching them watching The Breakout and The Great Escape. The last straw was when UPS showed up with several boxes of gormet feed and treats.

I am still trying to figure out how they got my credit card number.

Gotta watch them girls all the time! lol

We have 16 Silkie Hens and 3 Roosters. We have been getting 4 5 or 6 eggs daily. Took
4 dozen to my office friends today. They are always ready for our eggs @ $1.00 a dozen.

Works for us. We certainly could NOT use that many eggs. Regards, Aria
