I'm going to be off doing some running today. Going to TSC for dogfood and wormer. Then stopping for medicine for me, my sinus hurts enough that my teeth hurt too.
Hope everyone has a good day!

for anyone in the Old Chatham area, our band is playing at Jackson's tonight. 8pm to midnight. I'd love to meet more of you!

just wanted to post up and say hello from Cato NY ( south of Fulton ) with my 12 TSC chicks that I am brooding now. Will post more questions on design of my tractor coop and the features I have to have when I know what they are. I have raised birds in the past mostly Ducks and Pheasants but they were used for training my Field trial dogs (Labrador retreivers) and not intended for long term care.

Welcome to Backyard Chickens, this is a great site with helpful people. What kind of chickens will you be raising?

went to TSC today, saw some friends, and something funny happened.
It was a "chick day", and as usually, the families were so amused by the chicks. The family next to me was saying "oh, aw, is he dead!?" and the boy started crying. the mom then said "well we don't know if he is dead", and I replied "oh trust me when I say he is a goner!....."
and the family really awkwardly walked away.....
It was quite funny.
