Hi everyone!
I'm on the Eastern side of Wayne county up next to the lake. It's so nice to see other upstate NY'ers here!
I have 22 girls- 5 GLW, 5 Barred Rocks, 6 New Hampshire Reds, and 6 Buff Orpingtons, and 9 Cornish X. I love my girls and just tolerate the Cornish, although hubby loves them!
Hubby- though he has 0 construction skills at all built the coop for the girls, nice and big, as predator proof as we could make it, and by
winter will have insulation on the north and west sides.
We have been buying Dumor starter feed from Tractor Supply, but we found a local Amish run supply store out here, that has a better price on a different brand.
I am so new at chickens though I have no idea what to look for in feeds. I will have to go take a look at it myself and come back and post, can you all help me by letting me know if it's good or bad?!!
Looking forward to getting to know you all!
