Now I can't make any guarantees, but I can always use more manure.  I can only give you what they lay.  I'd have to give you all the eggs from that coop.

I will gladly pay for the eggs and just give you some manure. How many can you collect in a week?

I bought Lav Orp eggs on ebay ftom terra_farms, i was not impressed with the packaging but all arrived intact and i had a 70% hatch rate.

Hi all, just joined today, and find wowie! 1700+ pages of posts from NYer's. Needless to say I did not read them all

I saw several posters who live in my general vicinity. I'm near Oswego and Fulton. I would LOVE to hear how you all deal with our winter winds, (constant, cold, blustery lol) and have plenty of draft free ventilation for your coops? I am in the hunt for coop plans currently. I mentioned that same thing in my (long

) intro post also.

Thinking of replacing my 5 australorps I lost to the weasel. Last year, I got 1 BA pullet and 1 BO pullet from Nature Berry Farm in Macedon. I was totally pleased with them. That BA is larger than the BA's I got from the hatchery. I'm assuming it's his line. Blondie is also a nice sized BO.
My coop just seems so bare.

OMG UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE OVERWHELMED BE SPECIFIC IN YOUR SEARCH FOR EGGS ON EBAY, SPECIFY BREED, TYPE ETC. THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF LISTINGS....BE CAREFUL SHOPPING THO. THERE ARE LOTS OF SELLERS OUT THERE JUST IN IT FOR THE MONEY, WHO ARE NOT CAREFUL OR HONEST.

Welcome Lisa , Our chickens have a wood coop ..no heat ..they only got frostbite when I closed their front curtain .
unless it is a blizzard they go out almost every day ..They go under my deck for shelter
