Loving the sunshine today! So happy that the one rooster has FINALLY let Blondie come out of hiding. Today was her first day out of the coop in ages. The other hens would come out before but she stayed inside. Not sure if that was her choice or his. She has spent the morning scratching, sunbathing and dustbathing.
SunnysideUp, I'll be making a tea out of neem leaf powder and trying it in the coop and nest boxes (spraying it). If I'm happy with the results I'll give you some to try. Maybe it might also work at keeping flies in control too.
Making deviled eggs for Easter dinners. The eggs are finally selling again. We're down to 3 dozen. 1 dozen. 2 just sold as I typed this. lol
Off to clean the brooder in the garage. Man, 15 chicks get stinky fast!
I'm wondering if one of the tetra tints I got from TSC's hospital tank is a roo, even though it came from the pullet bin. Only the one has begun to grow a fairly good comb. The other has almost nothing. What are the chances of getting roos from the pullet bins?
