Ok I need help. Don't think one of my newest Silkie chicks is doing all that great. Yesterday when they were out in the run, I noticed the smallest of the 5 kind of distancing himself from the rest. He would just stand there and sleep. Not interested in anything like the others, however he would eat and drink when new food was placed in the run or in their brooder when I put them back in the shed at night. Today I went to check on them and he's even worse, barely walking around, always "sleeping" but he does chirp, he drank the water when I placed him near it and he did eat a little this morning. But the other were trampling all over him. So I made him his own little box with food and water and he hasn't moved since I put him in it this morning from the spot he started in. He's still chirping, still breathing, what should I do!?!?!
I'm wondering if he somehow did something to his neck. He can't seem to keep his head up. Don't think he's going to last much longer :-(
