One of the sassy Columbian Rock ladies I got from you. This is Molly. She is a bold lady and very nosy.

I believe she is a Delaware. They are very nosy and friendly. They are usually the first to come and inspect things.

Sounds like you have your own "integration issues" for sure, Rancher. I'm sure things will eventually work out for both of us and our birds.

The barred frizzle chick sounds COOL !

Busy week for me so far and Sunday son has Orientation for college so I have to drive 4 hours to Plattsburgh and then come back by myself he will stay there until Tuesday when I will have to make that 4 hr. drive out to Plattsburgh to pick him up and that 4 hr. trip back.

Chick wise the last batch of 18 that went into Lockdown I got 14 out of 18 which was pretty good considering they were mailed eggs and these were all French Black Marans. Yay!! I really would like to have every type of Maran I will eventually have some of each type. I thought the next ones to go in Lockdown were my ducks but as I am sitting here typing this I hear Chirping and so I go and look and it is a Baby Brahma chick from the eggs I got from Brahmapapa I completely forgot that they should be hatching good thing they know what they are doing.

I am thinking of ordering some Silkies from East Coast Silkies anyone ever deal with them? I want quality Silkies and can't seem to find them local.

Tomorrow we are going to do some more pens in the new barn can't wait to finish although I am already planning the next barn LOL!

Well I am renaming the Cass 11 they are now the wild bunch .
When I let them out they are all hopping & flying all 11...
They sleep really cute ...
The cage i have them in ...isnt long enough for a roost for all of them ..
so I have three roosts all the same height ..
They sleep all inner -twined ...necks & heads on each other ..




So Stony ...Is the one on the left a roo & the one on the right a lady ?

Ask Pharm to send you some silkie eggs, if she has some she wants to ship out. Her birds are beautiful, and my eggs from her just started hatching. One out this morning, and it's gorgeous. Five perfect little toes with great spacing, a big poofy top knot, bearded, just a perfect little thing. Another pipped and the rest due later today.
