Sebastapol geese. My Thanksgiving treat to my self....

They are afraid of me, but the 2 ganders took bread from my hand, the girls held back. I have white & colored. They are a little dirty, hoping to get them a small pool when I move them to permanent pen tomorrow.

Evening all. Chatty bunch you are. Well I made it through my very long shift and people werent too bad, Crazy busy though and I am tired! Another long day tomorrow. Chicken daddy gave the terrorists their turkey carcass dinner today. Demolished in less than 20 minutes. They were out running around when I came home from work. We didnt get any snow, probably because I went and had my snow tires put on.

Aria--doesnt surprise me that floyd put a camera in the coop. Is a recliner for him next? lol

I see all this talk about muck boots. Where does one aquire such things? I have a large foot and ankles and have trouble finding boots that fit. I would love to have some really good boots to wear when I am outside working.

Little Mans women laid me three silkie eggs today. These little three year old girls always give me eggs all winter long. Of course they spend all summer being broody but I guess its a trade off I can live with.

Trying to stay awake as long as possible. Got up a 245am for work this morning. I dont want to go to sleep too early or I will be awake early! Guess I will go see what leftovers dh left me to eat. Toodles!

Also got our first Silkie egg from my lavender hen what a good day Black Friday is turning out to be! And to think I actually contemplated going shopping! Lol

pharm, muck boots are sold in a variety of places, but the best are the LLBean... slip on and off, really comfy and they run big. I normally wear a size 8-8.5. my mucks are size 7... LLBean has nice ladies patterns too, mine have purple paisley with a greenish tan background. love them in all seasons and all weather!

TSC & Dicks sporting goods have them. I tried them on at TSC and purchased them online for $95. They run in the stores about $125 depending on the style you get.

out & about ...And flying around . It is amazing to see a chicken fly any distance
