Here are some pix of the porch problem. It has been a stress factor for both the girls and me. We began to make that porch into a three season room, but after laying the floor realized that the supports had shifted way out of plumb.. Enter the bulldozer, temporary supports, new footing and support beams, meanwhile the window installation was put on hold, the snow fell, shoveling was required, although Bella was not in favor of shoveling her snow room. The girls had to endure strange people, machines and noises outside their pen. Now the entire porch is wrapped in 6 mil plastic. No picture of that yet. It flaps noisily, we can't see through it, but no snow in the snow room, and the house is warmer with that corner buffered. The girls hope the window toward them will not be screened so that their airmail treats will not be curtailed, and so that Mr Ruger can keep the backyard safe.
