I had an egg like that this morning under a roost. I've got a girl that has been laying a softer egg lately. It may have been her. Most of the shell was pecked off, but then again it was rock solid.DW said this am that the reason we haven't gotten the lake affect snow is the lakes are frozen so there is no moisture for the winds to pick up. I suppose I don't mind no snow, but Lord have mercy I'm freezing my butt off.
I found an egg on the floor of the Del coop and I've no idea how long it'd been there except that the outer part of the shell was coming off. I tossed it of course. It was solid and looks old. Don't know how I missed it.
Lynzii - I don't know anything about Brinseas, except that I can't afford one.
It has been so cold! Just watching the weather on the noon news and it shows that it is supposed to be almost 4 on Friday and stay in in the 30's at least till Monday! Here's hoping that we have turned the corner and it is supposed to start to get warm finally!
