It means they found something fun to do with pine chips. And that you should check the temp in the brooder and make sure it is 90 degrees in some part of it so they can warm up if they are cold.

When next week? I've only been east as far as Syracuse 3x in my life. lol Actually, my dil and grandson are flying south and I'll have the twins. I don't think I'm up to a 4+ hour trip with two 3yr olds. Depending when I might be able to make it work. I'd love to have it.I have a frizzle chick right now if your coming this way before next week let me know.
Most on our NY thread seem to be to the east or north of me. Is Fayette near you? It took me well over an hour to get there. I have been looking for buffs for nearly 2 yr but don't find them near me. I have 1 hen so even if I could find a roo, I'd be happy. The people at the very end of my road have very washed out buffs for eating. Their flock keeps getting smaller and smaller. They do the same with ducks.
