Welcome to the addiction floydp97! Build big or dont build at all!

Jlaw--I feel your pain. I have been checking the terrorists and havent found anything until today! Mites. Grrr. So I am off to bribe them into the coop then treat them with eprinex and poultry dust. Already took care of the silkies and they are mite free. This weather hasnt helped any and neither are all the wild birds that are around. I am going to war.

Tab---I want that recipe Rancher was talking about. Sounds real good!

Sally--Im being careful. Resting it then doing a little something then resting it. Arnica gel seem to be helping as well.

So beautiful out. Going back out to get some more vitamin d. And trick and treat the terrorists.

My plans to make it to the show has been derailed. I got into a sneezing fit and I got something out of whack in my neck. It hurts to move it to much so looks like I'm going to stay home. I have a doctors appt. tomorrow anyways so I guess that is good... Darn allergies!!

Broodies are still sitting good. I still can't get the handle of candleing. I see the pics, but my eggs are on the darker side and I'm having trouble seeing what I need to see. One did look kinda clear, I'll check it again in a few days, if it still looks clear then I'll crack it open to learn what is going.

My Roo is going to have to go! I had to go out to the car to get a toy for DS and as I got back to the porch, he came running up behind me . I turned around just as he was about to get me. I would have chased him but I was in my bare feet so instead I started to chuck things at him.I did managed to get him with a bucket. I can't have him doing it to the kids so he is going to have to go!!

I rented a rototiller for the first time and it was wonderful! In yrs past I either borrow someone's small one and get so beat up from the roughness of it or I just used a shovel and hoe. It was done in less than an hour and looks b e a u t I f u l! I think I'm going to enlarge my raspberry bed and one of my flower beds. It's going to be a gorgeous day. Enjoy everyone!!

Pharm I hope your knee holds up to all your activity. Take care of yourself.

Now that my raised beds are biting the dust rotting I've considered renting a tiller. With just me and DW in the house it's not worth it I think. Plus the used "hard fill" and there are chunks fo cement and tarvia and God knows what in there. I once found a piece of bent rebar. I had to pay someone to dig it out!

Thanks for reminding me of Pharms knee. Pharm take care of that knee. It's nothing to mess with. I hear GM is in the business fo recalling all the knee replacements they made.

WNY egger - I've seen that video before and watched it again and it's still funny.

SAHchickenmom - and hers came and took the Mean roo and bought two hens today. I'm glad he's gone, but will miss him a little. I do have one of his sons I think and hens sitting on eggs. I'm downsizing slowly but it's hard. They're both very nice.

Floydp97 you have no idea what you're getting into.

Ducks will be going in trade to Nutty. I'd like to keep them but with chickens it's a bit to much right now.

I have to say, DD and hers came today. DD followed me to drop off DW's Chevy Cobalt to be fixed. Wheel bearings I think. AND it hasn't even been in for the recall yet. Waiting for parts. Then we went to the grocery store. Later while I was out with GD, DH got up and cleaned out the gutters that had green things growing pretty high. Would have cost me $100 to have someone do it. Maybe I should just throw veggie seeds in the gutters and forget rototilling anything.

He even took the hose and flushed them out good. They're are big help.

Who went to the show and who bought what? Pictures would be nice.
