That is good to know. We're losing our little girl (the survivor). Something is wrong with these chicks. She was walking yesterday and cannot walk at all now. Silently peeping. Will call Meyer in the morning.I have 4 that are only a couple weeks old. But not sure on gender. They are all either pure Plymouth Rock or a rock cross
I also have an incubator full due to hatch in 2 weeks
You should come see the set up sometime
I'm not sure but I do understand that if you sell, more than $5,000 in product a year you'd need an inspection or license to do so. I looked it up years ago but can't remember it all.what are the requirements to sell eggs in NY, from a farm stand?
. I am so sorry: ( I just others from Meyers ...I pray I do not have the same outcome they are due to arrive on the 29th. I'm in Sinclairville but gave all my chickens to my sister. Hope it all works out for youI haven't posted in a while but we FINALLY got our chicks. I ordered from Meyer hatchery and they shipped tester eat/arrived today at noon. 3 out of four of the chicks were dead on arrival...I am so, so sad. Something must have happened in shipping. I have a lone, surviving Buff Orpington. She is sad but alive... a bit wobbly but she has had something to drink and eat. Here is our lone survivor. If anyone knows of a person selling chicks in the Jamestown area, I'd like to get her a friend.
