So happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have one chick that is almost all out and one more with a pip and is chirping up a storm! So happy. I have 2 more eggs that aren't doing anything yet. Today is day 22 so I'll give them some more time. Maybe water test them to see if they are still alive tomorrow. I'll get some pics when they are all out and dry!![]()
Oh and had a family reunion today here at the house. AWESOME DAY! just hate the clean up...We all decided that we need to do it next year
So a few days ago I saw a bee going into a hole in the wood just above our picture window. It's not yet painted. There are a number of hole too.
Well today DW hears a Knocking sound on the front of the house. It seems a Would Pecker is pecking at the wood. It's come back a few times since.![]()
I had sprayed the holes to kill the bee but apparently there are larvae there. Bumbles drill holes I think and lay just few eggs. I've recently read an article on Bumbles. There are a number of varieties.
Some make nests in Tufts of grass.
