It's tarp replacement day over here for one of my hoop coops, and I want to try to get the other one replaced before it snows too if I can. I'm also covering the cemani run with plastic and moving the juvenile chicks into the coop. Starting to try to winterize over here before it gets too cold.

Well We Made our own No crow Rooster Collars ..
Wide velcro ...with masking tape on top ..
It Works .. it is some quieter here now ....

I kind of want one NOW ! LOL...My spitz cutie is at the bottom of the pecking order and needs a mate . Boskeli & Laperian Is there 1 Pretty pullet available? Pictures anyone ?

I do have one black pullet I considered, because she is the complete spaz of the group. She is not a perfect Spitz, has some white lacing on her wings and not a full crest. She is the one that is most difficult to catch and carries on when working in the barn. Everyone else sits quietly, she is pacing and squawking.

Some one called from Syracuse .about my roosters ...
They told me when they got here ...they wanted to eat them ..
Which I somewhat ...expected ..
Then they asked could they kill them here ..
I was like...I dont know ..So I let them .
They carried them down to the woods and killed them there..
I didnt want to watch ...
they took 5 of my roosters ...and 2 old hens...
Paid me $25.00 ..if anyone is interested ...I have his #
The afternoon was much more peaceful without them ..
Missy and broody Hens were still hiding ....expecting them to pop out at them & chase them
I have 3 Roosters left Lucky , Cowboy and Cutie

Glad you were able to clear out some but idk if I would of been comfortable w/ that lol.... Interesting ppl never cease to surprise me. My boys are all younger I did contact a few local ppl but unfortunately they only get a stay until the end of the week then they have to go so I can integrate my younger ones. Neither of the 2 that are def going I would ever consider for a breeding program even if I could keep them the SFH is already aggressive and the BCM has issues. The third suspect is a beautiful East Fresian Gull that sells for $99 each from GFF and is a sweetie I might "not know" on that one a little longer. Getting rid of any of them is stressful for me. But I have a few ppl that want chicks out of my next cpl hatches so that's always good

Well....although they are beautiful to look at I certainly won't be breeding them so it seems a shame to 'waste' her on simply egg laying. I'm about 70 minutes or so from you so an afternoons drive. Not sure what I want in exchange (except no roosters). Make me an offer - $ or otherwise. Not the best photo - she is better in real life
