NY chicken lover!!!!

Well, I have had a fox since last summer picking some of my birds off. Ok, no big deal, we just make improvements to keep him out. Well last night that SOB dig under my coop and up thru packed stone dust and then thru a layer of pack stone driveway material, and a rubber mat. He killed 8 of my special needs birds that had issues where they couldn’t be sold and I was too attached to cull them. I put leg traps out. I’m so done with this fox. He went thru a lot of trouble to get them and struck my last nerve. Wish me luck....

He got one of my ducks. The other is so traumatized it’s sickening. I will shoot him if I get him and make it quick. He is for sure feeding his mate and pups and I understand that but this year he is out of control. Just can’t let him keep at it anymore.

I get depressed when I lose 1 chicken
What I am trying to say is this ..to everyone
this time of year they are more active because they might have babies to feed..And they will be out there more ...looking for quick food ...
 
Postponed Chickenstock due to lack of attendance.. Will try again late June maybe July?

If you have suggestions on what weekend more peeps would be available please let me know. It is so much fun to reconnect with everyone. Putting faces with screen names. Hope we can find a date that works better for everyone!

Oh that sounds fun. I’ve always wanted to go but May is always a busy month for me. I should be able to do any weekend except Father’s Day or 4th of July
