NY chicken lover!!!!

I recall that the Blue Splash eggs were dark with alot of speckling/freckling but nice. The Coppers were very dark but not the super dark chocolate scale of I think it's a 4? I did have other copper maran eggs that were very very dark, since I can't recall there may have been a few really dark ones that were hers, it was over a month ago so it makes it hard to remember.

NPIP certification tomorrow! I have met the Ag & Mkts rep last year. She is really nice and in the many years she has been testing she has NEVER had a positive Pullorum. Guess it is more common where there are large poultry business.

Congrats Hensey! I am so excited for you that is just a wonderful step and you must be so excited!

Yayness!

I have 17 new babies in the brooder, but not all are for sale.

Do you want eggs? I have them coming out of my ears! I'm averaging 3 to 4 a day from the BBS pen & 4 or 5 a day from the White pen. Most of the eggs from them will be pure whites, but I also have an experimental breeding in there using a blue & a black hen. I'm going to pull them out soon, unless something cool hatches. So far, most look smokey or splash. My whites have that smokey down but feather in pure white.

There is a waiting list for chicks, but I'll be plowing away at that starting wednesday.

Let me know if you're interested!
