What is this 'storage' you speak of? =). I just put all eggs that look good to me that I want to try hatching in a special carton on my counter. Plop them in the incubator on set date. Have never tried more than a week on the counter, but I've been known to pull a few that are within the week out of the fridge and they hatch just fine. I get almost 100% hatches with my own mutt eggs, but can't say as much for shipped eggs.![]()
I will be collecting Buckeye eggs. I can get 30 in the incubator, but I will only get 12-15 in a week. Last year I put them in the basement(cooler), in the incubator, not on, but the auto turn cradle on and out of 7 eggs 1 hatched. I would like to do better. So I want to know, what has worked out for other people..........
