Morning all. I am back from the North Country even though I didnt want to leave. My fathers funeral was very nice and exactly what he wanted. Its still hard to say goodbye.
My friend did an awsome job taking care of my cheeps on such short notice for so long and she doesnt even have any! She came up twice a day and even let them out to freerange a couple of times while she sat with her grandson watching them. She says they are a hoot to watch. I know that as soon as they saw us pull in and heard our voices, the cacaphony of noise went through the roof. Needless to say, we were missed and everyone had freerange time. Funny thing, they all stayed around wherever we were in the yard. Game cam was checked and no predators were on it so its a good thing.
The boys woke me up this morning crowing. It was nice to hear them. Guess we are getting back to normal, whatever that is.
Rancher--sounds like you have the makings of a new side business! Guess your cheeps and gardens arent keeping you busy enough. lol
