I second this - we are people and we all use the restroom and we all eat food - and really are all the same. A mothers love is a great thing!

arock, I loved your story. Just loved it. How wonderful that you have been blessed with this child.

I once told my mom that I was considering adopting a child as my partner has an inheritable illness, and there was a substantial chance it would be passed on.

My mom's words, I'll never forget, which was about how she felt about us or any other child:

'Once you change a diaper, clean up a little spit, spank a butt (yes in those days spanking was taken for granted), yank a little hand off a lit stove - that baby is YOURS and will be forever, whether it's little, or big, or covered with orange and purple polka dots'.

So here's to all of us, little, big, or covered with orange and purple polka dots. God made us all, and God loves us all.

And anything else, just ain't worth nothin'.

I was also pleasantly surprised to see this thread going. Glad to see some open minded folks.

However, it would be helpful to see the hateful comments. At least then the rest of us could know who to avoid or who to not buy from if you know about their bad attitudes.

Well the enemies are no different...straight or gay, rich or poor. I am afraid I may be missing the point here.
