~Oblivion~ {A Fantasy RP}

Harrison stepped into the hole in the wall soup shop where he spent most of his afternoons. He sat down at the corner table where he nomally did, and motioned to the empty seat for Iris. A waiter came over to take their order. Without even looking at the menu, he ordered water and clam chowder. He looked at Iris.
Iris ordered water as well, but opted for a tomato soup instead. After the waiter left, she looked deep into his eyes, finding comfort in their combined pain. It was strange, maybe even a bit perverted, but in both of their suffering, she found peace.

(Sorry guys I wasn't getting notifications for this for whatever reason. And I have been busy. I will do my best to keep up, otherwise I might have to drop this one. )

( @HoodedHuntress I am not going to dig to find Yael so I will just start a new post since its been so long. I will just skip to the morning ok? )

Yael woke the next morning early and began working on making breakfast for them. She made a porridge that while it looked terrible was actually quite filling and had a pleasant flavor. She also made some tea that was steeping in a pot and re-hydrated and cooked up some of the meat with some seasonings to make it taste better. She glanced over to the young Dust wondering what the girl had dream about.

Xyla looked at him as he grasped her hand, just as she was about to leave, and held his gaze sorrowfully. She responded quickly "No, it wasn't your fault. You were being sensible, you were being reasonable." She cared about him, and whispered quietly "Neo, you're a prince. Your priorities are set out before you." She was at a loss at to what she should say. No words escaped her mouth even though she yearned to find them. Xyla didn't want to distract him from his priorities, even if that meant not seeing him. She finally added "I'd be a distraction to your training. Are you sure I should go? Maybe we could have visits or something if that works better. Or we can wait till your training is over?"
"Kitty," He said softly. Lifting his hand, hesitant at first, he ran it though her hair. "I want you to come. More than anything, believe me. But you're hurt, and I don't want you strain yourself on the flight." His eyes spun from deep Amber to emerald. His hand still in her hair, the green crept into his veins to sprout a single red rose. Curling it around her ear, he said, "To the world, you may be one. But to me?" The power now slowly died from his eyes, "you are the world."

Then a rap came at the door, "If ye two love birds be done, we have some flyin to get to!" Flounder shouted from outside.

Xyla calmed at his touch, moving closer. With a sigh she breathed out as the truth of his statement hit her. She began, before pausing as she looked to him in wonder as he placed a rose around her ear, finishing once he was done, "I love you." With a quick movement, she stood on her toes to kiss him on the cheek. She pressed against him, whispering "Promise I'll see you again."

Erin completed her dream in a slow denouement, waking up slowly, glancing around herself, checking she was still alive, and not dead or in a dream. With a groggy smile, she waved to Yael, voicing "good morning."

(@Fanci Feathers Marans we were thinking of doing a time skip of a few weeks or months because it will be war preparations...would you be ok with that? It would speed up Neo's training, but if you want to act it out that's fine, just let me know.)
(Sure, that's fine. Uh, are there any Ripples we could role play with when we get there?)
