~Oblivion~ {A Fantasy RP}

Dryden looked over at his sister, who was talking to herself through tears about her nail breaking. He rolled his eyes. He walked into his room and went to sleep.

Clio sat against a tree and put her sword back. She hadn't told Dryden her parents had been killed in the most recent battle...

Xyla stopped, reaching down to examine a small cut, which she covered with a makeshift leaf bandaid. She looked forward, intent on finding the panther, no matter what the cause. She stood up from her temporary resting place, a mossy boulder, and continued onwards, using her wings to give her wings a rest.
Neo barely had time to get his clothes on before the big man dragged him outside and shoved him off the deck. "Woah!" He said, falling backwards. His wings trailed above him, wind rushing past. Silence, wind. Falling. And for a moment, peace and quiet. He sensed a branch coming up behind him. Twisting, his wings shot out. Muscles strained as he pulled up. The wind pressed against his feathers like a paddle against water. He shot skyward at the last second, leaves grazing his chest.
"Clumsy." Squawked the parrot as it flew in beside him. The bird squinted at him.
Neo curled his blue wings, slowing himself in the air. "What?"
The bird rolled his eye. "Nothing."
"No, what? What is it?"
Silence.
"What?!" Neo said, but again, the bird didn't answer. "Fine, then. Be that way. I hope the panthers eat you." The boy and the bird joined a group of warriors, drifting through the trees toward the border.

Yael rolled her eyes. "You never sneak up on another Dust, especially a hunter. Plus the way you were going about it I heard you ages ago." She scoffed as she looked back over her shoulder at the girl.
Erin walked forward a bit, before responding nervously "I was just going to the forest, not trying to sneak up on you." She awkwardly tried to advance in an attempt to pass her unscathed and enter the forest. She didn't need an enemy day one...at all. She stated once again "I'm not trying to hurt you", well aware the other hunter could hurt her more than she could ever imagine.

Xyla saw a barrage of the other tribe filing her way, sighing as they filed out. Just border patrol. But before she knew it, one of them was heading her way. A young boy, probably her age, with a parrot. She looked down at the ground, realizing in horror she was in their territory. Frozen for a second, she started to turn back for her side as he neared. She began imagining being captured, that couldn't happen. With a clear look of despair in her eyes, she spotted the panther behind her, creeping closer. She was vulnerable, and had no escape, so moving towards the boy and away from the panther was her only option. She nervously yet calmly retreated, retracing her steps deeper into the Macaw territory, drawing her knives out.

"Hurt me?!" Yael roared in laughter as she stood, "Like you could hurt me you slip of a girl? " She stood and picked up her weapons and returned them to their rightful places. "Do you even have a weapon? Or any training for that matter?" She asked with a smirk as she slowly lifted off the ground a few feet.

Erin backed up even more now and much quicker than before. She pleaded "I didn't mean it like that. I don't have any training." She pulled out a scrappy dagger, displaying her only weapon. She once again pleaded "Please don't hurt me."

(Every time a writer uses the word 'intricate' an artist has to spend 2 extra hours drawing the thing... if it's like, a movie or something. Does that make sense? Nevermind.)

"Ow! Quit pecking me. I said I'm sorry." Neo said.
"You could have killed me." The parrot grumbled.
"Oh, quit being so dramatic. So I got up too fast and you fell. Big deal."
"Fell? You threw me across the room."
"Yeah, well..." Neo glanced around, and a chill ran up his spine. Where was everyone? He slowed, head spinning in every direction. The bird noticed it, too, and grew silent. His feathers pulled close to his body. They both lighted on a tree, oblivious of the girl flying not twenty feet away.

Yael chuckled, she had been a child once, she had had no training once. However she had had a very different upbringing compared to this girl. She sighed and shook her head. "I'm not going to hurt you, I draw the line at killing children, even those nearing adulthood. And if your going to be traveling about you should probably get yourself a better weapon. Come on." She said with a shrug as she flew into the nearby woods. She didn't really care if she followed but if she did then the girl might actually get something out of it. Like a weapon from her secret stash.
