Obsessed Rooster

Thank you.
He is very handsome
and I miss him so much. 😭 😭 😭
At least I get to still go see him every chance I get.

@Hei 20 I was following your thread... you have given him away? I'm so sorry but i think you did right and I'm glad you can see him a lot.

@GigiMarie, beautiful roo! What a sweetie!

Does he get outside time at all? My seramas have an outdoor run too.

Lovely boy, but I don't advise crow collars, they actually restrict breathing and can be dangerous. Is he your only chicken?

Yes, I took him back to where I got the egg. So is with his parents. I didn't want to be selfish. I wanted him to have everything he needed that a rooster would need.
It was heartbreaking for me to see him jumping the TV remote every day. I didn't want to deprive him of girls.

he hasn’t gotten outside time since we took him out of the coop. We plan on building him a little run come spring. I have a harness for him too we are trying to get him used to. It’s not been going well! He is out of his coop pretty much all day during the week. I work from home so he hangs out with me sll

I also have 3 hens. A bantam and two Wyandotte’s. My hens are good girls.

yeah we gave up on the crow collar. I wasn’t worried about trying it since it would have been under 100% supervision but either way, we don’t use it. He freaked when we put it on him (very loosely to just get him used to it) so we gave up on that idea.
Here is his indoor enclosure

You made a very noble decision. I'm sure he will miss you but he will be happy with other chickens. Have you visited him yet?
