All I can tell is that it appears to be simply a good excuse for a whole lot of people to act like jerks and make jack@$$'s out of themselves and accomplish absolutely nothing in the process.

I just have to ask, does no one here understand the original point of the protest? Yes like any protest, riot, opinion, etc there are the crazies and so on but honestly what I see on the news are radical minded people trying to tear down the "hippies, liberals, anti-Americans" When in reality the original point of the protest was for a good reason most Americans do agree with.

Not asking for a debate, just sayin'. The news isn't your answer for all events, and the protest isn't about people causing trouble. I personally think the main point of the protest is a very good one, but I also agree that a lot of people down there are indeed causing a lot of havoc. That doesn't mean we should spend all day talking about the protest as if that's all it is made of.

I do agree that the original point of the protest was a good one but I do think that, as so often happens, it is getting buried under all the idiotic behavior that is going on.

The news may not be the "answer for all events" but it is where most people, via one form or another, get their information.

The protested would make more sense if the group had some sort of solution that wouldn't plunge the country in to a third world nation like existence. There is a point to the protest. I agree that Wall Street can be held just as responsible as the government for the current downturn in the economy, and lack of recovery. Still to protest without an end goal seems a bit pointless. Because If the protesters get their wish, and Wall street suddenly disappears entirely..........

It will a good to think that some of us will know how to raise chickens, and grow gardens. That is of course if we manage to survive the initial complete chaos, such an event would cause.
