Hi all!

Was interested in those that have this set up, pros and cons with and without getting the humidity pump? I work 12-14 hr days plus an hour drive each way 3 days a week so I am looking for something accurate and self regulating. Any issues with settings? Looking at getting some new Orps, had no Idea Terry Disney had died, loved my birds I hatched out from him and he hand delivered me some as well. Any suggestions on nice Orp egg suppliers, I would love a mix. Located in North MS.

Hello,
I have my brinsea octagon 20 advance going right now with 17 eggs in it!
Hatch date is march 17th.
So far I'm really enjoying this incubator!
Temperature is almost rock solid.
I encourage you to order it if you haven't already or you can look in to the new brinsea ovation 28 advance. I almost got the ovation but decided to start with the octagon first!

How is your humidity holding up?I have the same thing and this is my first hatch in it.I live in northern maine and its still winter here so the air is extemly dey her even with a cool mist humidifier going in the house.I am having a hard time have to add a couple TBL of water everyday just to keep it at 35% (trying the dry hatch method).I am worried about lockdown when it needs to be 65%.I did read that someone uses Viva paper towels in the water wells,am going to try this.My hatch is due the 7th of this month

I'm doing the dry incubation method too!
It is staying at 30% humidity it might be a little low but will see!
Yeah lockdown might be a little hard but there must be someway to get the humidity up without a humidity pump.
So yours is due the 7th or the 12th of March?
