October - Christmas Fabrics Block Swap - CLOSED

LOL it's the time for the big project that concerns me. I know I'll finish it but it's a full quilt for a Dec. 7 birthday present.

Does this look too busy or crooked? It was another test one, but if someone below me wants it that would be fine.

Since we haven't reached the 10th yet and I am feeling really overwhelmed with my Christmas projects this month and afraid about getting them finished, I took my name off the list a few times so better check and see who you are sending to. Sorry, I really am not feeling very organized lately for some reason! It's the 5th and I have not had a chance to do a single block yet, lol!! Last month I was finished before the 1st!! Anyway, I have a tremendous amount of things to finish here for family Christmas so cutting back on my swapping will help

I am able to mail mine at regular postage of 44 cents. I use a regular long letter envelope and address it before inserting the block.. I fold the block almost in half, then fold again and then fold it to fit the envelope. I wrap the fabric block in saran wrap and press out the air. This way of packaging has been weighed several times at the post office to confirm the postage. If you use a manilla envelope it will cost about $1 to mail.

Thanks! I wish I had seen this before I bought 5x7 photomailer envelopes! I will use your idea though!

I, too mail mine in a #10(regular business size) letter envelope. Only costs $.44 each for me, too.
