It's alright. I've had worse, I guess, but it still makes me sick. Another died this hour. A third never even pipped. And then of course I had two 'clears'. So that makes 5/10. Not very good. But I got at least one chick out of each hens' egg I set.Oh nosorry
Have you picked them up? You should be able to feel movement or hear peeps in a good egga.The three left in my ‘bator aren’t showing any internal pips or movement either. Did a quick candle after all the others had hatched out. Figured I’d leave them until tomorrow and if there’s no change I’ll try making a peep hole in the air cell to try to see if there’s anything going on in there or if they’re gone. Such a bummer to lose them so late though.
At any rate, I’m at 8/15 and predicting that’s where it’s going to stay. So I’m right there with you at about half.
Looks like all the ones that hatched out are doing great though!

A lot better than my pictures! They are Ayam Cimani, right? Is that how you spell it?Yes, there was nothing. And now that all of the other chicks are in the brooder, I’m not seeing any wobbling either. I’m pretty sure they’re gone, but figured I’d give it a little more time before unplugging the incubator.
Been trying to get some good pictures of these chicks and it’s tough! They’re active little buggers! But here’s one to share. Hopefully I can get some better ones in the daylight.

Sorry you lost them
It’s perking up a bit, but it’s one leg seems to have a mind of its own and knocks it over all the time. Poor thing is trying so hard! It’s been on Nutri-drench since last night so hopefully it helps. 
It's pretty hard to tell when they first hatch, but fluffed up, it's easy to tell. My best hens are blue, and I wanted some blacks out of them, because for some reason you can't show the blues. There is a 50-50 chance they would hatch blue, but most hatched black, which I like. The lone blue is a lot bigger than everybody else...Yup! They’re Ayam Cemani.
I didn’t know you were hatching a blue as well! Do they look very different as chicks than BCM’s?
Thank you! It’s okay, I won’t complain about 8/15 on shipped eggs. Just hoping my little flipper chick can pull through okay!
I did end up pulling the remaining three eggs this morning, all had died in shell without pipping internally. One had someone gotten its entire head through its yolk at some point in time. It’s yolk was looped around it like a necklace. I have never seen anything like it. I don’t think there was anything I could have done that would have saved that one, just a fluke of nature.
Always a learning experience with hatching eggs!
