I just bought my incubator and plan to start on Sunday. I have RSL/BJG, BR/BJG, Delaware/BJG fertile eggs from my own chickens. I might be getting some from a friend too They have interesting breeds that I don't have.

Cream legbar, some green layers and other blue layers... I'm not exactly sure on the breeds of them all. Most are mixed for colored eggs so I guess like Easter eggers that they created

Yes they are. We had one but she didn't work out with our flock. She was the bully in her flock and her owner sold her to is. Well she bullied my flock too so she was relocated to a farm that my friend knows... She's now a broody for them and she's a good mom from what I hear

I set 10 shipped eggs from a breeder up in North Texas yesterday morning. She had shipped 11 but USPS took one. Hatch day should be the 23rd. The eggs came from her LF Black and Blue Sumatras with the rooster being a Black Sumatra. Looking forward to this hatch and grow out as she raises some very nice longtailed fowl.

i forgot what breeds your doin?

A bunch of shipped English Orp eggs..Isabel Cuckoo, Choc Cuckoo, Lavender and Split Blk Lavender, & Gold Laced.
I dont have a lot of faith in the Gold Laced because I had to throw a few out on arrival because they had a bad odor, then one was weeping in the incubator. They looked kinda porous when I candled them to check for cracks on arrival. I hope I get at least a few because I really Love the Gold Laced Orps.

Oh and I have 2 Golden Cuckoo Marans that someone added as xtras. The guy who sold me the Lavender and Lav split blk also added 6 xtra eggs but Im not sure if they are Lavs and Lavs split blk or a diff kind. I kinda wish someone slipped me some Blue English Orp eggs lol. I have a thing for the big fluffy blue girls.

I used to have a bunch of regular Lavender Orps several yrs ago..They were so sweet and the roosters all got along and loved each other like brothers (well they were lol) Look how sweet they were together making nests in my flower pots lol
