Dont get panicky yet. I dont like to remove eggs before day 10 for clears, unless its s definite blood ring.

I'm only doing it to two different eggs once a day, but today was my last day checking every day. I'm waiting now until day 7 and I'll be doing them all to see which aren't developing. Then I'll wait until day 14 to check them again then it'll all be a surprise from there.

Candling can be addictive for sure. I'm hands off until Thursday night when I have 3 eggs on day 14.

The twin egg - I have not had a success hatching these. Hopefully it will go better for you.
Then compare to a chart to see if they're about right. You can adjust humidity if they're too big or small to compensate a little bit.
Some use a weight chart and gram scale to measure but I've never done it that way.!
I did use a scale and weighted the eggs. Then I realised my incubators cannot keep steady humidity and no point in that. So now I go by what I see when candling.
Well I just received my next batch of Light Sussex eggs. Never hatched this breed so I'm excited. 18 eggs - will candle tonight but will probably put in the incubator tomorrow morning.

So I have three and now the fourth one has pipped. I am a little concerned about one of them. For a full 24 hours it did not open it’s eyes after hatching by itself. It doesn’t really stand up straight it mainly lays down. It does look a little smaller than the others. I really hope that it will be OK, but I don’t have a good feeling about it. At least it’s finally opened its eyes
