She a game batam cross silkie very good mother. I got her from a farmer's barn he said they went feral and cross bred a couple times. She doesn't eat much and mostly survives off the land.

I havent hatched in my incubators for a few yrs. I had been spoiled by broodies.
But, I decided to get a bunch of English Orp eggs going in 2 separate bators. The first set is due Oct 17th, the second set due Oct 18th. They r shipped eggs so who knows what will hatch lol. Wish me luck.
I have one broody EE but she has her own 4 eggs about a week along. Plus, I gave her 3 'iffy' English Orpington eggs that I got in the mail a few days ago, that I wasn't sure I wanted in my bators. She likes them and is sitting on them lol... but then again she could hatch a rock lol.

18 Lavender English Orps (due Oct18)
12 Isabel Cuckoo Eng Orps (due Oct 18)
12 Golden Laced Eng Orps (due Oct 17)
13 Chocolate Cuckoo Eng Orps (due Oct 17)
1- Golden Cuckoo Marans
The broody has..
-Her own 4 blue eggs..(She is a black peacombed Ameraucana mix (EE)..her baby daddy Roo, is a Crele Ameraucana mix with a straight comb but he has a beard and muffs lol.)
- 1 Golden Laced Eng Orp egg
1- Golden Cuckoo Marans egg
1- Choc Cuckoo Eng Orp egg

Just candled my eggs... Nothing... I need more patience! I knew the chances of seeing anything was close to nothing but I was bored. On Day 4 right now.

WHAT??? I am so jealous, I LOVE ORPINGTONS, but I just dont have the money for them, my favorite type of orpington is the lavender, MWAH, gorgeous!

OK I candled again, its been an entire hour since last candling and still no signs of development... I give up! kidding. I just come here to whine about how boring the first 10 days can be. Everything is actually going great
