Love this! The chick doors have been made. One in the door itself, the other by lifting a corner of the pen.
I grabbed 2 chicks at random, lifted them out, and put one back in through each opening to give them the general idea.
I'm going to be out for a few hours but I'll check on them when I come back. Some batches scoot right out, others take a few days.

Cute chicks! I hope they all grow up to be happy and healthy.Happy Sunday, everyone.
It’s been a week since I picked up these three Aussie girls. They have been named Zinnia, Dahlia and Camellia. They were all weighed and banded when I brought them home. They were all very similar in size at that time.
After the first night Zinnia wasn’t coming out from under the outdoor brooder, so I brought all three of them inside so I could keep a closer eye. For the next 24 hours she would not eat on her own and was quite lethargic. I fed her egg yolk mixed with B complex and Nutridrench every two hours or so. After that she perked up and came out on her own and joined the others to eat.
Here now a week later she is doing well in that she eats and drinks with the others, though she does not eat as much and is definitely smaller than the other two now. Her feather development is also delayed, so she looks like a week younger chick. She has only gained 8g in the past week whereas the other two have each gained close to 30g.
I am pretty sure she is a FTT chick but as long as she is eating and drinking and acting normally, I’m not going to worry too much about it.
Photos from this morning they are 13 days old today.
