last time i was at tsc there was this teeny tiny black and grey chick he just looked different than the other assorted bantams, a weird shape and sparcely feathered, he was feisty too, when he wasnt being trampled, i wish i would have gotten him now, i wonder what he is.
 
A bud of mine, knippk on here once called me about 8 years ago saying he hatched a chick that looked like is had corn silk looking hairs all over it. Of course I had to go see it and if I remember correctly it was either a silkie or silkie mix. Anyways it had the same down with some thinner spots and more hairs then this one. I'm pretty sure it feathered out slow but normal in the end and you could never tell it was different as a chick. I will check with him today to make sure of the out come as he is not on here much anymore.
 
I kind of hope he stays odd looking...I've got a turken for that exact reason. Love the little weirdos.
