Odd mix ducks, by accident

Well i do have more females 8 others to be exact they just have to mature. the drake was out trying to mate one about 20 mins ago and it wanted nothing to do of it since they where born in march. so ill come out with 3 males to 10 females that are my runners. Im even getting the pekins a female this week from mcmurrays and 2 fawn and white (male and female) So i think ill have mroe then enough females for them to love. xD

You're so lucky to have a pond! I have 3 drakes and 4 hens in one flock and 1 drake and 4 hens in the other, they should have made one, nice flock but they will not join together. I think if I had 2 fewer drakes they would but as it is they're not going to even though they're all Runners. The 3 Buff/White drakes don't like the Lavender and vice-versa. Glad you have a bunch more hens, you're going to have a nice, happy flock.

You have beautiful ducks, I have read that Muscovy drakes can be homicidal especially to the ducklings but that the hens are really sweet so it's good you have a hen. I was going to re-home some ducks to a really good home until I found out they had Muscovy drakes.

I heard the same with the muscovy drakes even my female can be mean but its not horrible.And thanks for the comments on the pictures~ I got some updated pics of my mallards


Thats everybody in the main cage minus the muscovy shes being antisocial.

You have a beautiful flock, it looks very green where you live, you're so lucky.

Its super green esp. with the warm winter. But they have started on destroying the greeness in their cage. Starting to die slowly. loll. And ive added 2 rouens (male and female) and 3 fawn and white ducklings (male and 2 female) and a pekin duckling (female) And thanks for the comment !!!!
