Odd pets, what do you have?

I used to have a Pygmy Hedgehog named Star, but he died of cancer a few months ago. I remember that whenever my mom walked by, he would hiss and roll up into a ball, but whenever I walked by, he would come up to the door of his enclosure. Poor mommy! Star really disliked her.

Hmm....I have snakes and mice, I dont know how weird that is,lol. I want a Roach like Brenda's, but my parents are against it at the moment.

Oh my good gracious! I forgot about my Bearded Dragon! I have one of those too,lol.

LOST? as in somwhere in the house lost? OMG I would never sleep thinking that thing might crawl under my covers.

We have had the hissing cockroaches, but the jar they were in broke when they lived in the barn, I think the chickens got them. Right now we have dermestid beetles, they are flesh eating bugs, we bought them to clean skulls and they are doing a great job, you can find them on ebay, its suprising how fast 200 little beetles and larvae can clean a goat head. Most people find the thought of them creepy, but they are cool, the boy scouts love them. We also have a cockatoo, not that odd, but not everyone has them. Also, we raise mealworms for the chickens.

This is Baby, my Patagonian Cavy.

They're the 2nd largest rodent in the Americas, related to guinea pigs. He grunts, squeels, purrs, growls, and makes lots of neat sounds.
He's paper trained, has the run of the house during the day, and kicks my Newfoundland's butt on a regular basis. Roughly 18#.
I also have a pet rat, ferret, bearded dragon, and lots of other "normal" stuff, too.
I've had skunks, hedgies, raccoons, etc.

We are pretty much only into your "normal" critters. i guess our most different ones are our hedgehog "herbie" and we have lots of Chinchillas.

I dont have any thing "odd" at the moment, however everyone things im odd couse I have so many animals, but we are moving to a farm next month and I have always wanted a camel and ill finaly be able to get one. give me a year or 2 and Ill have it

I have a western hog nose snake who is cute as a button.

My room mate insists upon keeping two hissing cockroaches (they're small at the moment, not near as big as SpottedCrow's George). He also wanted to keep a rescued tailess whip-scorpion, but it died. As soon as the weather warms up some, I'm going to get some goldfish for my ponds.

The rest of our crew consists of dogs, cats, chickens, a rabbit, and now ducks.
