I guess I don't even need much of a body since the title says it all.
I'm considering building a second "brooder coop" area since we have a broody hen sitting on 6 eggs, and I want her to have an area to hatch her chicks.
Since I love to overthink things, I figured after she was finished raising her little ones, maybe we could utilize the now "empty" space to seperate the hens one by one for a week each and figure out how many eggs each average in a week to help with our culling process?
(we have done okay so far, but would love to know more about their habits, since some eggs are so intermittent size and frequency)
Anyone know if this will cause slow down in the egg laying, or undo stress/seperation anxiety?
Just Curious.
Thanks
