Glad you had some recommendations, Sparkles. I wanted to follow up my comment with a recommendation on where to look for a warm coat, but my "winter" jacket is a lined hoody, so I have no idea what coats are the warmest. I have an old ski jacket I stole from my little brother to use when I feed the critters, but I doubt that's warm enough for a MI winter, either.
I have 2 leather jackets as well, one riding lenth, and one full trench coat. But as a concept "fall" and even "winter" here is a vauge thing. I think i wear a coat maybe a month a year, so I need an inbetween coat for fall/spring. also, well, i'm never so cold as to ponder a snuggie, and all my robes are silk.
