That is my dd, to a tee. If she LOOKS like she's paying attention, you've lost her, she's gone. All the training they give teachers now on ADD and I still have to go explain to them why they need to let her doddle.

And really? Come on! It's swirls on a page, is it really hurting you if she's making a pretty flower while you're lecturing?

Hurray for first days of kindergarten!

My scar is huge, the incision got infected and had to heal open, but it's too low to show, even in a bikini.

When I get my tummy tuck it will be a smaller line.

I used to file basic work things on the computer if I didn't have to talk to someone while someone else was yapping in my ear. I could repeat a 5 minute conversation back to them word for word if I had the filing to do. If I had NOTHING and couldn't doodle???? Yeah, may as well call back tomorrow, I won't have a clue.

I've already got scars, they show in any swim suit, so bikini will be worn, no matter what. I've seen worse on the beach than my scars, so I do not care.

Vodaka peach pie...Ummm I don't have a recipe. It was just chopped up peaches and a 1/3 cup of sugar mixed with (what will be) my vanilla.

But my vanilla hasn't "set" yet, so it is mostly just vanilla-flavored vodka. I used more than what was prudent.

Maybe we could call it drunken peach pie?



...I don't know how to make pie. I usually just take the sqoooshy fruit on the counter, mix it with vanilla, and put it in a pie crust.

I only bake a few times a year but Vodka Peach Pie sounds like a good thing to serve on Thanksgiving when I'm ready for my grandma to take a nap...
