Boyd, it's a GOOD thing. Last Spring DD2 was all in my face wanting me to stop nagging about homework so I wrote her a contract. Her grades went down, she conceded the point and we are back on track. And I posted a sign in the kitchen that says "No Sniveling".

Also made a new house rule(or went back to it) no tv until EVERYONE has homework and chores done. Trying to build team spirit.

A posted list with consequences can be a great stress reliever.

I've tried for 18 years and haven't managed. I gave up. The kids just learned they can not say those words about a person and PLEASE try to not say them in public.

I am the bad one about saying sh t . I try subbing but its hard to say "golly gee boblycats" when I really mean MERDE!
