Dehoarding of the house is going well. Kitchen got cleaned last night. I even scrubbed the front of the oven. Only thing left to do in the kitchen is get rid of the masses of gazilliion dozen eggs on the counter. Maybe tonight. My house looks like aliens took over. Cleaning aliens.

Very strange. Next step, go through massive box of mail...........and eggs. That should be a good enough project for tonight. I am poor so the chickens are getting layer pellets split with scratch.....and lots of scrambled eggs. They probably are getting more protein than normal LOL.

I don't read many other posts any more. I'm not really on much except for this thread & the d'Uccle thread....

I would love to have a mutt dog. DH won't let me.

But mutt chickens take up space I don't have and eat food I'd rather not buy. And no one pays for them at sales. If I cull them then they can live again through a predatory bird at a recovery center. It's not like I'm 'wasting' them. Just, well, hmmmm.


Beaner, I thought you were ready to get rid of excess roosters???

DH would love me to get into the declutter mode. I did donate a LARGE bag of clothes, though. And am planning to go through and cull another load. I may even go through some random piles of stuff and make them into smaller piles. And we're clearing out a whole ROOM full of furniture, too. The basement will be sleeker, soon, and have a large elliptical unit for us to exercise on. It's the family gift this year: Better health without leaving the house. Best part is I know we'll all use it.

My sweatshirt pouch currently contains an extremely headcold snotty handkerchief and some lip balm to rub under my red nose. I am eating canned lentil soup with leftover egg noodles and curry rice thrown in. Dang, I should have given those to my girls. Drat! (Pardon the language Dacs.)
