Where is he going to put the birds? Drain his pool?

Easy clean up.

Lori, actually I never thought of that as a full-circle use for culled birds. Very good of you.

After watching Frightful eat about 10 pounds of mice during her recovery, and helping them thaw meals for the birds while I was helping out, I know they will value my donation when I deliver it in January.

The lady that runs the place even picks up roadkill if it's fairly fresh and not too flat. They are desperate for feed.
The birds I have so far were all in perfect health, well-fed, and young enough to be a good meal for a hawk, eagle or largish owl. And since they were feathered they'll be better for the birds. Apparently baby chick fuzz can make raptor's throats swell if they eat too much. So I always raise mine until they're mostly feathered before I make any dire decisions.

So I don't feel bad at all for culling birds I can't afford. I just have to mark the freezer packets VERY clearly.

Mine has a warm cell phone, gloves, and a couple of kleenex because my nose hates where I work (dusty).
Hope you feel better soon, Buffy.

DD was hoping the band would take a trip together, but no one has sent home any info about that.
I need DD to take a plane trip to get used to flying, and my aunts are not getting any younger. I'd like DD to see some things through their eyes.
Since DD is currently agnostic, we may fly out Easter Sunday.

* note to self, talk to band director and make sure the band trip was a pipe dream...*

I wondered about that too but was too weary to click on anything but this thread. I need to fall asleep next to Belle and her little tiny beanie baby.

Well, the baby does... right? I mean, isn't that what they do most of the time. Then the rest of the time they bellow and .... well never mind.
