Ok time to catch up........
I was in band - saxophone. I was horrible at playing because I refused to practice. Never memorized anything. And I couldn't march and play at the same time. I also can't dance and am horrible at any aerobics that require me to follow along. I always go left when I'm supposed to go right!

As for band camp - LOVED IT!!! Senior year was the best. But it was hot and you sweat a lot. For food, IDK. WE ate sandwiches, chips and gatorade mostly. Replenishing fluids is most important part. Being in band was cool because I fit in better than in regular "high school" life. Still got picked on and made fun of because I always refused to "go along". I hated high school. You couldn't pay me to go back again. But it's something everyone has to do. She'll make friends in camp and that will help to get through the rest of it.

Spiders suck. In Florida we had horrible wolf spiders. They weren't bigger than a quarter, but they would come after you They are highly aggressive. I hate them. Kill 'em all!

Never liked the "corset rippers". I don't think I have ever read one all the way through!

Haven't had a chance to look at threads(well except the dry ice one. teehee) Been too busy doing nothing yet everything all at once.

I need a vacation.

That describes me during my whole school career. Man I hated school even though I did well. You too, - doing well doesn't mean you are enjoying anything.

Eh, I liked high school, I am a very complicated and multi-faceted person. I once took the compatibility test on eHarmony (not to find a mate but because I worked graves at the DOT my Sr Year and was bored often) and it told me that I was too complicated to match with anyone. I liked HS because, well, I had lots of boyfriends and attention and was very outgoing, but deep down inside I didnt want anyone to reject or make fun of anything that expressed who I was. I was conflicted. I'm still pretty weird too.

Who was the one who had to get the machete out of the shed because I was too scared of gigantic fishing spiders?

[Of course, I failed to tell Michelle they're almost as big as my hand and they breed in DH's shed. Not only that, when disturbed, they don't back down, they raise their front legs to fight.]

Oh sure! NOW you tell me. That's ok, my P90X Kenpo training would come in hand for hand ot leg combat.

And yes, Batty, you do need a vacation. A school life being a dance-failure and a band member is trial enough, much less having to grow up and pay taxes and a mortgage.

Stuff in print is NEVER as good as real life. The sad facts.
