Nah, then I step up to the hardcore meds that keep me from chewing off someone's head.

That is definately my escape. My Boss and Assistant know when I am in pain and forgot my Vic's... They steer clear of me and ask if I need to go home early politely...LOL That or if I am on my high dose of Prednisone they ask to take a sick day....hahahaha

Actually, I was going to be a substitute teacher for the local schools. And on the days they didn't need me I would play with the birds, or garden, or (as a last resort) clean.​

Teeth don't impaction? Huh? I'm so confused. Mostly 'cause I was bluffing / making up something that sounded logical to make me appear knowledgeable and deny Wegot's pertinent point.

Pretty sure impaction is when things fail to move.

Luckily back then, telemarketing hadn't been invented. But kids on the school bus were cruel. I had to get married just to achieve a two-syllable name.​

I don't like to clean. That's why I married an OCD retired Army sergeant. he puts things away befpre I can even use them.

I've contemplated going back to school to get teaching certification, but decided to sub for a while instead. But now I guess I will remain gainfully employed. That's not actually a bad thing. But this job is not what it started out to be, and I feel unchallenged. I am basically a repository for all the stuff everyone else hates to do.​

I felt your pain, Buffy. Literally. My maiden name was Suggs. Heavy enunciation on the 'g' and people still said 'Lori Sucks'. <sigh>

When the song "Boy Named Sue" was played I soooo knew what the song was all about. Playing drums helped. People are nicer when they see you carrying sticks and know you know how to use them. "Heads sound remarkably drumlike when struck just right," I would say that as I played cadences on the back of a bus seat.
