Yes, that's Boyd. If you've seen pictures of him, you know that when he walks down the street, mothers grab their children and run. But he's a lover not a fighter, a giver, not a taker.

There was a question in family life about homecoming attire. Was going to try to say something about the boutonniere, but gave up 'cause I couldn't spell it.

There goes my life long dream of becoming the spelling bee champ...

Now now, orchid, let me help you.

Boutonnière

Can I hear that used in a sentence please?

After he made me angry I threatened a boot-uh-near his behind.

AHEM....D - R - O - P - K - I - C - K

*buzzer*

Nope, no spelling bee champ either.

Step away from the opener, Beaner. The men with the wrap-around sweater might come for you soon. You won't like the wrap-around sweater. Although soft, and covered with shiny buckles, the buckles are actually fully functional.

No one ever offers me footrubs. My feet are not that scary, but they are arctic cold. When DH ticks me off I plant them in the small of his back in the middle of the night.

I don't care about anyone else's spelling - it's my own that I worry about.

Take yourself too seriously much Orchid? Why yes, yes I do.

I am not getting a dratted thing done here today. Used up all my productivity for the week yesterday I think. Plus, you peeps are way too entertaining for my own good!

Oh sure, she FINALLY gets up to hit the Ladies room, and I've got an order to fill in the next 4 minutes before I have to go to my next office. DRAT! Hopefully I'll be on BYC more this afternoon.

Behave! (Beans, put down that opener!)

Enjoy your lunch! I just had leftover Chicken Broccoli Alfredo with garlic bread. (the kids ate all the chicken and broccoli, so really it was broccoli-flavored noodles with a tiny bit of alfredo sauce.)

Someone else's kids like broccoli! I thought mine were the only ones.

That sharpened letter opener got me to thinking (dangerous, I know). My office is full of weapons within easy reach. Letter opener, heavy duty stapler, scissors, pocketknife, and the often underestimated but highly effective stainless steel ruler are all right here on my desk. And if all else fails, I'll poke you in the eye with my multi-purpose all-occasion office tool - the unbent paper clip.

Orchid, Orchid! Don't give Nbeans any IDEAS!

Okay guys, here's what my cross-stitch will eventually look like (in approximately the year of Christ's coming again)

Here's what it looks like right now: After four years....
