I fell in love with my now Mr. Orchid when I was 15 and we were, um, not angels. Both smart, good students, no trouble with the law (mostly because we never got caught), but we were..."not angels" is the best I can come up with. I'm not a good one to ask about how to keep a teenage girl out of boy trouble, other than to say that I am a big promoter of birth control and was smart enough to use it faithfully.

DD still believes there's no point in sex beyond procreation, and cannot imagine why anyone would think it's 'fun'.

She is a hoot and a half. Embarrasses the heck out of me sometimes but I return the favor

She has a strong opinion on every subject and is NOT afraid to share it. Loudly. With enthusiasm. And colorful expletives.... except when she knows I'm within reach. It amazes me that she can be camera shy, when she's so un-bashful in most other respects.

Yaz - run, run for your life
Ortho - eh, not bad
Loestrin 24 - not bad but miss your pill time by an hour or two and BLAM Aunt Flo comes busting through the door, no knocking or anything

Yazmin and Yaz both made me PSYCHOTIC....like my normal Angry became incredible hulk level angry. It was frightening. My family was like PLEASE CHANGE NOW.


Other than that, the whole regulating thing is nice.


Last night i dreamt i was the singer from that band (now semi-defunct) Panic At the Disco, but I was apparently homeless and starving and was scrubbing mildew off the porch railing and calling people SIR.

Buffy, approximately 384 posts ago, you asked if I regretted the "late dating". Nope, i was a "late bloomer" for sure.........i spent more time getting my life together than messing with dudes. Which is why I moved cross country, own my own vehicles and my own house and work full time.......while still in my 20's. Take that, early-daters with 8 children and an apartment in the ghetto. Take. Cake! I want cake! Cake mixed with alcohol is like sublime awesomeness. Who needs to drink to get drunk when you can eat cake and be drunk instead? Its a nobrainer.
