That ordinance is pretty funny. According to section 8 it's unlawful to maintain "gods" in a manner so as to to disturb or unduly annoy the public.

Maybe the OP has some loud, obnoxious, barking Budha statues in her yard.

All kidding aside, it would seem that the ordinance doesn't say that one complaint gets your animals evicted. As long as they are maintained in a clean and nonstinky manner, they should be fine. I would think that you should be entitled to your day in court and not just at the mercy of a crazy neighbor and officer Dufus.

List the township , each person who has promulgated the lies and inaccuracies and your neighbor.

Sorry for all this....I let me chicken free range on my 2 acres just outside of city limits...I think I might be annoying my neighbors but I have only one rooster who almost never crows....

I haven't been on in a while and only came on this evening to check on you. I can't believe that the township wrote a whole ordinance because of you and your chickens. Kinda funny but very sad. Sounds to me like you are being subjected to harrassment by officials who are elected for more important reasons.

Maybe they'll name the ordinace "Holly's Law".

If this wasn't so sad and annoying, it might just be funny. I can not believe the typing errors in a city ordinance. These people are total morons!!!!! That being said - according to Ordinence Section 8 (section 8 - isn't that what the military gives a crazy person to get out of their service????) you have to keep the place clean and free of odors and poop. If you have done that, you are no longer in violation.
Seriously, if these people had half a brain, they'd come up with a real way to get rid of your birds. Honest to goodness, if they were gonna write a law to keep you from housing poultry, they should try harder. Their own pathetic attempt still gives you plenty of leverage to keep the birds, all you have to do is keep them clean. Morons!

Hey Guys, and how are my favorite Chicken people??

Well I swear this is a never ending saga!!!!
Yes officer Leskin showed up again ... said the last warning is still in effect since last Nov. I have 24 hrs to remove all foul from my property. Said he'll be back in 24hrs to check. Resulting in another citation if not removed. So he refiled a citation at the magistrate. (BTW he never returned 24hrs later) The hearing will be on the 22nd this month.
It will be interesting, as I believe last citation and hearing I appeared at ... Judge Platchko stated he was the wrong magistrate to go before. I was to be cited at the county court house.

Anyways ... here is the scoop with me now!
I've been very ill due to all this stress over my neighbors and Chickens.... To the point that I was in the hospital this winter, and life flighted to another hospital. The harassment and Ciaos of the officials and neighbors including, the favoritism and unbiased judgment of me and the fact I'm from Canada, has led me to a point that they will not like. Yes I'll be taking the Township, Neighbors, and Officer, all to court.

My constitutional rights have been Violated, and several other things as well. I can no longer stand by and allow it any longer.

Don't I recall that your he last court date the judge threw out the city's citations and told them to come up with a workable ordinance? That what they had and were using was not enforceable?

Told us, they where not the ones we where to see. ???????? At the same time I asked for proof of publication (announcing the meeting held to change the ordinance.), as well as a signed ordinance accepted from the Schuylkill county court that it was approved. I did not receive anything. I also asked for the minutes from the Sept meeting and was not successful. They seem to not want to give out anything. Even though they are to do so if requested. (we requested in writing as well as verbally.) So as I said ... it will be interesting. I do not think I'll need to say anything.
