Mine just went into lockdown today. Did anyone have hatchings today???? Am curious.

Of the 29 eggs that went into lockdown:

22 fuzzies in the brooder
1 screamer in the incubator still
2 waiting for the Dia de los muertos hatch along
4 midterm quitters/dark shells that I missed on the final candling

Three pipped and hatched this morning. Just candled the rest and everyone is lining up for tomorrow. I guess they wanted to be November babies. The two Cornish Cross under White Rock eggs are still looking good.

Here is a pic of the three that hatched today: Ignore the two white ones (pure white rocks), they are from a broody that freaked out two days before hatch...

Yeap. 9 peeps in the temporary brooder, 1 in the incubator drying. About to help one that’s stuck. Luckily I caught that it had dried out and didn’t wait until morning to help it.

Monday or Tuesday hatch for you then?

Here’s one of the Bresse they are almost always early and certainly the best hatching ones I have.
Hatch isn’t due till tonight so this could easily go into tomorrow.

Where did you get your Bresse, I haven't had good luck with hatching bresse, this time 3 out 14 hatched and last time 2 out 12 and another 14 due to hatch in 10 days. I know I should have left them in the egg carton but I couldn't turn them 3 or 4 times a day.
