She wouldn't sit still for good pictures, but I had a Chinese painted quail (rather unexpectedly) hatch out 6 chicks today. Suddenly I'm not sure I should be hatching anything else for the Halloween HAL. Why do I always do this to myself.

Ok so I have my chicken eggs sorted for this hatch along
1 doz White Leghorn eggs
1 doz Cuckoo Leghorn eggs

Now just need to find some quail eggs and we are set to go!

Glad to hear they are back in stock. I bought this model from my local Tractor Supply in early spring and it's worked wonderfully for me, even with shipped eggs!

Since you mentioned "something weird" I did come across this article on interesting and unique chicken breeds! It might be worth checking chicking out. lol

I don't know about those Game Hens...not sure I can have a chicken on the farm that has better legs than I do!
