Naw I wait till 7 or 8 days to candle. I’m trying to get more eggs to fill the void left from non developing eggs so maybe sooner to candle.TODAY IS THE DAY TO SET QUAIL!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m so excited. I just got a new brooder made, and I found feed at the feed store.
Is anyone sneaking in a day 3 candle of their chicken eggs or is everyone waiting til day 4 or later?
Mine were set like six days ago, do they still count?View attachment 2329510View attachment 2329510

Whats with your cornish in thethe pic? Thats what she is right?I’ve been missing the whole hatching process! Thinking of buying some more of those fertilized grocery store eggs! See if I can do without the rest the family thinking I’ve gone completely berserkView attachment 2329813
Sure! Welcome.Mine were set like six days ago, do they still count?
She’s not a cornish, she’s a second generation red sex link (so no longer a sex link) likely White Rock and Rhode Island red version. I hatched her from a brown grocery store egg! Contacted the egg producer to find out what breeds they use but never heard back. Her name is Frankie and she’s awesome!Whats with your cornish in thethe pic? Thats what she is right?
