But of course the real fur baby around here is Mason, the spoiled coon hound.
When we found the ad for him I was arguing that we didn't really need to spend the money buying a dog right then.
The husband said, there's probably enough money right there in those mason jars to buy him. Roll it up. 😂
Coincidentally as it turned out the breeder was a retired masonry worker! He had built this gorgeous waterfall there at his place with his own hands, in honor of his late wife.
We had the best time visiting there as he showed us around and told us his inspiring life story.

Wow! A beautiful pup and inspiration. It sounds like it was meant to be.

Not sure this qualifies, but here it goes!

Meet Bailey, a fairly famous Golden Retriever who belongs to Senator Elizabeth Warren. I worked on Warren's campaign and have a coveted selfie with her. But even more special was a selfie with her charming pup. He's winding down after a campaign rally last February. (Pre-Covid)

It's a sweet pup so I say it qualifies! :love Do you have dogs of your own as well?

This fluff ball is now 9 months old.

We got her for free at 6 weeks old (we later found out it’s best not to take a pup from it’s momma before 8 weeks but she’s fine and healthy). She was born early March, we got her mid April.

We kept the name Coco which is what her parents’ owners had named her.

She barks at everything. She’s so used to me being home at night that on the rare occasion that I go out and return alone she thinks I’m a stranger and wants to attack until I talk to her then she’s like ohhhh

She is half Labrador Retriever and half German Shepherd.

She is great with my kids. Very weary of strangers.

This is Princess! She is 7 years old, and always fussing about something. She can’t stand the other two cats, but she loves me. She quite literally lives in my bedroom on her cat tree all day, and is the cat equivalent to a hermit. However, she is a great lap cat and very sweet (as long as you only touch her in “authorized areas” because she’s got a short temper!) as long as you don’t make her to mad! She loves to sleep- just as you see in the photo, where she was bundled up on my sisters bed. She doesn’t know any tricks, but she is still a great cat, and a very pretty one to!

How did I miss this?! She's beautiful!
